The Corridor

2018 MAP_reduced-1.jpg

The proposed corridor is 1,471 miles long, 3 miles wide, and comprises 2.7 million acres. It stretches across the Great Plain from the Mexican/US Border to the Canadian/US Border running through Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota.  It is intended to run along a route that can be driven from end to end along the eastern edge of a corridor stretching miles to the west, revealing to the visitor a view of native prairie habitat. All land within the corridor will be open to the public with limited restrictions to protect the native plant and animal species.
